Catherine joined CDC in 2008. She is responsible for analysing and evaluating new fund proposals, and also monitoring the performance of existing funds within the CDC portfolio.

Prior to joining CDC, Catherine was an analyst in the Investment Banking Division at Goldman Sachs, where she worked on a variety of private equity and M&A deals. She started her career in Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities at Goldman Sachs. Catherine holds a Master's degree in Economics and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Cape Town.
