Jonny joined CDC in April 2008. His responsibilities include helping to research, evaluate and negotiate new investments in African private equity funds, as well as helping to monitor CDC’s existing portfolio across Africa.

Prior to CDC, Jonny worked at Hewitt Associates as an investment consultant for defined benefit pension funds and also as a currency specialist. Prior to that, he spent a year working for Citigroup in New York. Jonny is a CFA charterholder and has a BSc in Mathematics with Study in Continental Europe from the University of Bristol.
