Sam joined CDC in February 2009 having previously worked at GSA Capital, a hedge fund manager as Head of Financial Control and as in-house Legal from August 2006. Prior to joining GSA Capital, Sam worked for the hedge fund The Children’s Investment Fund (TCI), as Financial Accountant and Compliance.

Sam started his professional career in the investment management audit division of Ernst & Young where he worked from September 2001 to September 2005, during which time he earned his qualification as a Chartered Accountant. Sam has a BA (Hons) degree in Geography from the University of Sheffield.
