Shonaid joined CDC in February 2009 from Unilever, where she had worked since 2001; firstly in their fastest growing business unit in Asia, and most recently as senior vice-president of finance and information.

Prior to Unilever, Shonaid worked for KPMG for 20 years, where she established and developed their sustainability unit.
