Prior to joining CDC, David was an Investment Manager at Bridges Ventures leading transactions across a range of sections including renewable energy, ICT and financial services.
David also co-founded and was Director of Strategy and Investment for the Tony Blair Africa Governance Initiative, a non-profit working to improve government effectiveness and private sector development in post-conflict countries including Sierra Leone, Rwanda, Liberia and Nigeria.
David has a BA from Oxford and started his career at McKinsey & Company.
Reem previously worked in the Private Equity division of QInvest in Qatar, where she was part of the team responsible for deploying the firm’s capital in growth opportunities across the Middle East, Turkey and India. Prior to that, she was a Senior Financial Analyst at Occidental Petroleum of Qatar, a subsidiary of Occidental Petroleum Corporation.
Reem holds a degree in Accounting and Finance from the American University of Sharjah, and an MBA from London Business School.
Rob leads on education investments within the overall Consumer Businesses team.
Prior joining to CDC, Rob worked at the UK Treasury. Rob holds an MBA from London Business School, and a Masters in International Studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies.
Richa's portfolio of investments at CDC includes Narayana Health, Jumia Group, Zambeef Plc and Asian Institute of Medical Sciences.
She previously worked at Standard Chartered Bank across their investment banking and private equity teams.
Richa has an MBA from the London Business School.
Jean-André holds an MBA from INSEAD.
Maria previously worked in the investment banking division of JP Morgan in London advising a variety of clients on M&A, leveraged buyouts and equity financings across various sectors in EMEA.
Maria graduated from Vienna University of Economics and Business with a degree in Business, Economics and Social Sciences.
Julien holds an MSc in Finance from Cass Business School and is a CFA Charterholder.
Megha previously worked within investment banking at HSBC in London, advising on M&A, leveraged buyouts and equity financings within the Consumer sector across EMEA, Asia and the Americas.
Megha holds a dual Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Global Affairs (International Development) from Yale University.
Michael graduated from Oxford University in 2014 with a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy, Politics & Economics.
