Prior to joining CDC in 2012, she worked in the microfinance sector at both Agora Microfinance Partners and Opportunity International. Before joining the development finance sector, Maria worked at JPMorgan in both London and New York where she was responsible for creating investment solutions for asset management clients.
Maria holds a BSc in Biology from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Irina has over 10 years of blue-chip investing and value creation experience across emerging and developed markets supported by a 5 year background as a top-tier management consultant. She has led origination, execution and monitoring of investments from $20 to $200 million across alternative solutions space (minority growth capital, secondary purchases, buy-outs, structured instruments, listed equities).
Prior to joining CDC she spent 9.5 years at Capital Group Private Markets (CGPM), a leading private equity investor in emerging markets. She previously worked for the European Strategy & Corporate Finance Practice team of McKinsey & Company in Amsterdam.
Irina has a BSc (Hons) in Accounting from the University of Kansas, a Master’s degree in International Finance from the University of Amsterdam and an MBA from INSEAD
Prior to his current role, he spent three years with Rothschild, both in Madrid and Frankfurt, advising clients on M&A transactions in the financial institutions and energy sectors.
Maximilian holds an MLitt in Peace & Conflict Studies/International Relations from the University of St Andrews as well as a degree in Business Administration from ICADE Madrid and ESB Reutlingen. He speaks English, German and Spanish.
Prior to joining CDC, Enika spent more than three and a half years as an investment professional at Capital Dynamics in New York and London. At Capital Dynamics she evaluated and monitored Private Equity fund investments in the U.S., Europe and Latin America.
Enika started her career as an analyst in Equity Research at Merrill Lynch in New York, and has also spent some time working on private equity investment opportunities and market research in the Western Balkans and Africa. She holds an MBA from INSEAD and a Bachelor of Business degree in Finance & Investments from Baruch College.
Prior to his current role, Lisandro was an Analyst at Lazard where he worked on M&A transactions throughout Latin America and the Caribbean within the Financial Institutions Group.
Lisandro holds a Masters in Finance from London Business School and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics from Torcuato Di Tella University.
Prior to her current role, May spent three and a half years at RBC Capital Markets in London where she worked on M&A transactions focusing on the Financial Institutions sector.
May holds an MSc in Finance from Cass Business School and a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics from Leeds University. She speaks English and Arabic.
Sina previously worked in the derivatives and structured credit team as well as financial institutions M&A at Lazard.
Sina graduated from Imperial College London with a BEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, and from Durham University with an MSc in Renewable Energy.
Prior to his current role, Rohit was an Analyst at Lazard where he worked on M&A and restructuring transactions within the Financial Institutions Group.
Rohit graduated from the University of Oxford with a First Class degree in Economics and Management. He speaks English and Tamil.
