He spent 24 years at 3i as a partner based in London and latterly Singapore. He then ran the Islamic Infrastructure Fund and was a managing partner at CapAsia, an emerging Asian infrastructure fund manager.
He has an MA from Cambridge University in Genetics.
Peter brings a wealth of experience gained over 15 years in private equity, investment banking and telecommunications. Prior to joining CDC, he was the Investment Director, Principal Investments at HSBC Bank; and Head of Leverage and Acquisition Finance Africa at Rand Merchant Bank. He also worked for Standard Bank; and Vodacom South Africa and Tanzania operations. Peter is a qualified Chartered Accountant.
Jean was responsible for a team managing three private equity funds with US$ 400m under management. As such he originated, executed and monitored numerous transactions in various sectors all over North Africa, and also completed a number of successful exits, including the listing of packaging paper manufacturer Sotipapier on the Tunis stock exchange.
Prior to Swicorp, Jean acquired a wealth of transactional, strategic and operational experience, first as a consultant at McKinsey and then at Salomon Smith Barney and Capital One.
Jean is a graduate of Ecole Centrale Paris and has an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg school.
Prior to joining CDC, Kallie worked at Salamanca Group as PA to Head of Strategy and Head of Family Office.
Kallie has an HND in Business and Marketing, a degree in Business Enterprise and holds an Advanced Certificate for Executive Personal Assistants.
