Brian Lim
Portfolio Director, Pan-Asia

Brian Lim is responsible for the sourcing, selection and monitoring of private equity funds in Asia. He sits on a number of private equity and other fund advisory boards in India, China and South East Asia. Prior to CDC, Brian spent near to seven years at Watson Wyatt where he was responsible for advising pension funds and other institutional investors on private equity fund selection and investment strategy. Brian has an MBA from the London Business School, is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries and has a BSc in Actuarial Science from Cass Business School.

Jean-Marc Savi de Tové
Portfolio Director, North and West Africa

Jean-Marc joined CDC in January 2006 from Credit Agricole Asset Management in Paris, where he was an equity analyst managing the European utilities and trasport sectors. Prior to that he was an Executive at Credit Lyonnais-Hamilton Lane Private Equity in Paris. Jean-Marc started his career as an Analyst in the Leverage Finance Group of Credit Lyonnais Americas in New York. Jean-Marc has a Masters in Economics and Finance, and a post graduate degree (DESS) in Finance, both from Universite Lumiere in Lyon.

Sven Söderblom
Portfolio Director, Southern Africa and Latin America

Prior to CDC Sven spent almost five years with the European Investment Fund, a Luxembourg based private equity fund of funds. Prior to that he was at Alta Partners, a Barcelona & Madrid based M&A and PE firm. Before joining Alta, Sven spent four years at Alfred Berg in Stockholm as a market maker of Swedish Bonds (subsequently acquired by ABN Amro). Sven graduated from the University of Stockholm with a BA in Economics and a MBA from IESE, Barcelona.

Marie Rosencrantz
Socially Responsibile Investment Manager

Marie Rosencrantz joined CDC in April 2008 to provide focus and drive in our efforts to enhance and monitor our development effectiveness as well as in our work to promote best-practice on environmental, social and governance issues throughout our investment portfolio.

Marie has had an interesting and distinguished earlier career working for the World Bank, the Global Fund to fight AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria, McKinsey, and the Swedish Trade Council and Foreign Service. She has a MBA from Insead and a M.Sc. in Development Studies from the LSE.
