First and Future

Democratic Republic of Congo Communications and IT Services

We are invested in First and Future through African Rivers Fund, which is managed by XSML.

We do not hold direct relationships with the companies that investment funds invest in. Instead, we hold relationships directly with the fund. When investing through investment funds, CDC takes an active role as a limited partner to the fund, working with the fund manager to ensure best practices, including in environment, social and governance matters, and investment management oversight.

First and Future is the first truly independent commercial call centre in the DRC. It manages both on-site as well as their own off-site call centre to service the growing need for customer service. As all other existing call centres are in-house and captive, it is the first to offer this service to all companies in the DRC.
