Northern Arc (formerly IFMR Capital)

India Financial services

We are invested in Northern Arc (formerly IFMR Capital) through Leapfrog Financial Inclusion Fund II, which is managed by LeapFrog Investments Group Limited.

We do not hold direct relationships with the companies that investment funds invest in. Instead, we hold relationships directly with the fund. When investing through investment funds, CDC takes an active role as a limited partner to the fund, working with the fund manager to ensure best practices, including in environment, social and governance matters, and investment management oversight.

IFMR Capital is the portfolio company which is part of the IFMR Holdings group. It is a provider of wholesale debt finance and credit risk management and enhancement to financial institutions working with financially excluded households and businesses in India. Its clients are primarily lenders in the microfinance, affordable housing finance, small business lending and commercial vehicle asset classes.
