Cenpower

Ghana Infrastructure

Cenpower is a 340 megawatt gas and oil fired combined cycle power plant in Kipone, approximately 25 km from Accra. It should provide improved access to low cost electricity in Ghana and improve usage of the West African Gas Pipeline Project.

We are invested in Cenpower through Africa Infrastructure Investment Fund 2, which is managed by Africa Infrastructure Investment Managers. For further information on the fund, the fund manager, and the expected impact of the fund’s investment, click here.
