Niger Food and agriculture

ES Alheri SA began operations in 2007 and produces cowpea, sorghum, millet and groundnut seeds primarily in Dogondoutchi (approximately 400 km from Niamey, north of the Niger/Nigerian border. The region is dominated by small-scale agriculture. The company also supplies seeds to smallholder farmers.

This investment was made under a previous strategy. We disclose information on all our current investments, but narrative information on our pre-2012 investments, when we introduced a new strategy, may be limited.
